World Screen.com posted information that James Marsters joins the cast of the new TV series Metal Hurlant Chronicles, which is the 1st french sci fi tv serie adapted from the famous comic book Metal Hurlant (1974). Among other great cast members are Rutger Hauer (Blade Runner, Sin City, Hitcher), Scott Adkins (The Expendables 2, The Bourne Supremacy, X-men Origins), Michael Jai White (Black Dynamite, Blood and Bones, Spawn), Joe Flanigan (Stargate Atlantis, Warehouse 13, CSI).

The series is directed by Guillaume Lubrano. The series’ first two seasons, each season has 12 half-hour long episodes, will be delivered next April 2012 for season 1 and November 2012 for season 2 in English. Each episode will adapt stories from the original graphic novels.
