On August 28, 2005, I opened a fansite dedicated to actor and musician James Marsters. Yes, Civilized James celebrates 7 years online! This site has one purpose at the beginning, to introduce this incredible actor to Czech fans and as the years passed this site has somehow become bilingual and so a place for fans from all over the world. Frankly, I am still not sure how this happened, I guess it has something to do with the great fans I have met over the years and I will always be grateful to James for this, as it was because of him I have this great opportunity to meet people from all over the world and some of the even in person. So after 7 years, this site is still online and growing with information’s about James’ latest projects and what is really nice even growing of new visitors and hopefully fans. I want to thank all of you who came for a visit and also to those of you who joined my little adventure and follows me on TWITTER, FACEBOOK or even on TUMBLR. Thank you all for your support, thank you James and also his team for the great support. There are many of you who should I thank, I read all your e-mails, tweets, facebook messages and tumblr posts and I’m very grateful and touched everytime. Thank YOU, I appreciate each and everyone one of you.

A special thank you is dedicated to Dana, who offered me her help and who become an important part of this site, as she digs news for all of you with the same enthusiasm as I do. Dana, all you need to do now, is to learn Czech (*kidding*)!

And finally one big, BIG thank you to Skye (see, she has E at the end of her nick, we are not one and the same person :D) because without her there would be no Civilized James as I had no clue (and most of the time I still don’t have a clue) how to do the html/css stuff and also who’s support (or, um, eye-roll) is something I cherish very dearly. Thank you Skye for your friendship, kindness and support *hugs*.
